When two big names in their respective fields get together the result is generally stunning. Aston Martin has come together with Parisian concept store Colette to create limited edition bespoke version of the new Aston Martin Cignet city car. It is limited to only 14 cars, designs for which was commissioned by Colette and it was handcrafted by Aston Martin Works Tailored. It is the ultimate personalization service by Aston Martin that delivers unique pieces precisely to customer specifications. The Aston Martin design team worked closely with their counterparts at Colette and the result is there for everyone to see.
The exclusive edition of the cars has been finished with Lightning Silver paint with exclusive colette blue styling details. The front bumper has been inspired by a race collection. The interior has been done in bitter chocolate and one can see quilted alcantara accents throughout the interior. The door handles have been engraved. There are hand trimmed quilted colette blue leather occasional cushions for the rear seats. There is special branding on the navigation unit, and a special key ring has been created to celebrate the collaboration.
Marek Reichman, the Director of Design at Aston Martin considers both Aston Martin and Colette to be cool brands. That’s the reason why the collaboration has been successful in combining modernity with innovation. The result is automotive fashion for the city. It will reach out to new customers in urban areas. The colette team focused on materials, colors and styling and have filled up the car with a selection of goodies to make your trip fun. The goodies include candies, a Wallpaper Paris guide, a custom Sigg bottle to stay hydrated and the latest colette compilation CDs. Orders for the cars can be placed at the Colette store in Paris for deliveries by the end of the year. Prices start from €48,995.
