Ibiza in the Balearic Islands is not known as the party capital of the world for nothing. It boasts of some of the best restaurants and night spots that attract the jet set crowd from across the world. It is going to add another restaurant to its exclusive list that would probably be the most expensive restaurant in the world. The restaurant will be up and running this summer and if you plan to be one of its first guests you should carry at least 1,500 euros. Yes, that would be the cost of a meal in the restaurant called SubliMotion.
The most expensive restaurant in the world is coming up in the upcoming Hard Rock Hotel Ibiza. The restaurant is expected to open its doors for its guests on June 1 later this year. The new restaurant will be managed by chef extraordinaire Paco Roncero whose genius has been acknowledged by two Michelin Stars and three Repsol Suns. He was earlier with La Terraza del Casino de Madrid where he built his solid reputation with his innovative menus. There is a tender touch to his cooking that differentiates him from other celeb chefs. The cost of a meal will be about $2,075 per person but he promises a dining experience that will be well worth it.
According to the chef the diners will be treated to the very latest in “avant-garde gastronomy†in a literal “theater to the senses.” Once you go through with the experience the charges won’t feel exorbitant. To keep the experience exclusive, the restaurant will serve only twelve guests per night. The restaurant is promising a gastro sensory spectacle for the guests. Apart from excellent gourmet dishes there will be lights, sounds and levitating dinner plates. The restaurant has positioned it as a unique experience that transcends dining. The price of the meal is not just for the food but for the unique experience that you might not find at other restaurants.
