Nobu Hotel and Restaurant was opened officially at Caesars Palace on Sunday. It was a grand event in Las Vegas and was attended by around five hundred celebrities and VIP guests. The new hotel and restaurant has been designed by David Rockwell. Investors Robert De Niro, chef Nobu Matsuhisa and film producer-turned-Nobu principal Meir Tepper were the perfect hosts for the high profile guests at the event. The hotel has been developed as a hotel in hotel concept and is the first to be developed under the Nobu brand. De Niro, who was visibly excited on the occasion, said that it had been their dream for a long time.
Nobu Has 25 Restaurants Across the World and it is the 26th
It was the 26th Nobu opening which started with a traditional sake ceremony in the restaurant. Tepper, De Niro and Matsuhisa broke a sake cask with wooden mallets after being introduced by Caesar’s President Gary Selesner. Nobu as a brand has grown over the years and all its restaurants have been successful. A purple carpet was laid out leading to the Garden of the Gods Pool Complex which was the location for the opening party. Geishas on stilts, ribbon dancers and models outfitted in paper crane dresses were in attendance to take care of the guests. The food and drinks were served from the Nobu Restaurant and Lounge.
The Hotel With 181 Rooms Was Having a Soft Opening Since February
The hotel has a total of 181 rooms and has been operating partially since February. 18 new suites were readied for the occasion. A special menu has been prepared for the Nobu Hotel guests. The dishes on the menu are a fusion of Eastern and Western cuisine. Signature Nobu treatments are available to the guests Qua, the Caesars Palace spa that uses only Natura Bisse products. It is the first Nobu hotel but there is a pipeline already in place and in future you can look forward to Nobu hotels in London, Riyadh and Baharain. We will be witness to many more such openings in future. Like they have made the Nobu Restaurants a grand success the Nobu Hotels are also likely to create a niche for itself.
