The BP Gulf Oil Spill has attracted a lot of initiative and criticism from many people. This time, the singer Jack Johnson has come forward to do his bit by doing what he does best, and that is to sing. He will start off the second leg of his “To The Sea†tour from August13 in Salt Lake City, Utah. He will then go on to Texas, Florida, and several other places that have been directly affected by the unfortunate oil spill.
This tour is part of the All At Once campaign that will work with local and national non-profit organisations in order to get volunteers as well as donations to recover from the damages of the oil spill. Information regarding this effort will be given at the Village Green area where the concerts will take place. The Johnson Ohana foundation has pledged $70,000 for this campaign.
The singer is also auctioning off the best seats to his concerts via TicketMaster. The proceeds from this sale will go to the cause. The participants in Jack Johnsons All At Once endeavour also are rewarded by free downloads. It is nice to see people do their bit.
