Breitling for Bentley Collection Announced at Baselworld 2010

Pocket watches are some of the most old fashioned and cultured devices that one cannot get rid of. Just like the brooches and pins made of gold, a good pocket watch could actually be a family heirloom. This time around, the Breitling for Bentley collection which was unveiled at the Baselworld 2010 could be the hottest pocket watch, and has already received rave reviews.
It is dedicated to the founder of the British car manufacturer Bentley.

Breitling combines craftsmanship with exquisite performance and the pocket watch is almost aristocratic in nature. The watch comes with some of the most sophisticated complications in the Horological repertoire. The Breitling for Bentley collection includes pocket watches that reveal the date, day, month, leap years and moon phases.

It comprises of 700 parts and thanks to hand polishing, chamfering, and Côtes de Genève it looks really ultra modern and yet old fashioned. Walter Owen Bentley would be glad to know that he has been remembered and the 18-carat yellow gold case is just icing on the cake. There is no information about the price or availability yet.
