Ann Sacks Designs Kitchen Tiles Using Ancient Italian Technique

Kitchens can get awfully boring when the pass a certain period of time after being built. When you need to cook, you would certainly want a place that is invigorating and charming instead of being stuck to something that is ordinary.

If you happen to have the cash and also the plans to get your kitchen refurbished, you should try and get the tiles designed by Ann Sacks. These tiles come with a time-honored, Italian technique called sgraffito. They use clay carved reliefs and each tile is unique on its own. The tiles are grouped under Dahlia or Nautilus, each depicting different patterns.

They cost $480 for a mural and you would love to have them in your fireplace. You would love to have these tiles in your kitchen as they represent an ancient and age old Italian interior decor technique.

  • You have some excellent ideas for kitchens. That has been one of the recurring themes in my own life–looking for a way to make our bathrooms and our kitchen look really glorious, even though those rooms are much too small. One of the glories of the Internet, though, is that there is absolutely no dearth of ideas. Right now I have no idea of what I will ultimately do, but I keep hoping I will come up with something really slick.
