Mrs. Walton is the widow of  John T. Walton, who is better known as the son of Sam Walton, founder of Wal-Mart. As of the year 2012, Christy Walton is estimated to have a net worth of a staggering $25.3 billion, which she inherited after the death of her husband. As per recent reports, Mrs. Walton and family has now accumulated $29.9 billion as the overall fortune, primarily due to her 9% stake in Wal-Mart.
