Versace is…VERSACE!!! Well, what else you say about a brand that is a benchmark in itself. Letting us live life king size yet again, the famous luxury house is celebrating the festive season with the Stone Palace Collection. A combination of beauty with technology and utility, this unique collection of tiles has been done up extensively in porcelain stone.
A collaborative venture by Gianni Versace and the ceramic tile industry mogul Gardenia-Orchidea, this eclectic decor design is available in two different surface finishes. In other words, the collection can be readily used for your kitchen, in the garden or the living room.

The mention of Versace is enough to get the idea of the product that could be mentioned which without doubt belongs to the upper crust. And Donatella Versace is never one to skimp on excess. Known for famously stating “more is more,” the designer has just created what appears to be one of the world’s most luxury perfumes. Despite the threat of a worldwide recession Donatella�s new fragrance will retail at $2,100.
The 3.4-oz. bottle of the perfume is covered with hand-stitched white leather and it comes in a leather box with silver and gold details. Both the sheath and the box bear metal plates bear the words �Gianni Versace Couture�, in tribute to Donatella’s brother. The formula boasts citrus accents of bergamot and mandarin blended with red berries and tangerines. There’s a floral feel too with jasmine, heliotrope and almond blossom tones. The base is muskier as Tonka bean is combined with patchouli heart and sandalwood. If the ingredients themselves are heavenly singly, what fragrance would be of their infusion?

Your discerning eye may tag me as a watch binge but I choose to ignore. It is my fad for elite timepieces that enabled me capture deserving models over at EliteChoice. Those who can’t afford $25 mn timepiece by Chopard can go ahead with Versace. It is clear that Versace is busy branding opulence. Lately at the Watch Fair in Baselworld 2008, the Donatella uncovered the Versace “not like a watch” watch. The dial of the timepiece comes crusted with around 122 white diamonds. By now three of the models of this overpriced Destiny watch are being sold indicating that the Versace lady makes sense. They don’t carry watch to tap time as they have better substitutes (BlackBerrys). Versace lady considers it as their jewelry watch, which is worth flaunting.
The watch is available only on order. Other thingamabobs available at the Baselworld 2008 are Selfy Easy Bed, trespolo and $300,000 timeless watch.
