BBC could be on its way to becoming the most extravagant broadcasting corporation ever, for they are planning to send about 84 of their journalists to South Africa. Now what makes that so horrendous? Well, BBC is going to spend £1million at the 110-room Mandela Rhodes Place in Cape Town.
Room rents there cost about £270 and £636 per night. Some of the cool facilities that they would get to enjoy are three gourmet restaurants, a trendy bar, one of the South African city’s hottest jazz venues. In fact, BBC has already been screwed by many people for using tax payers money to send 295 staff to the World Cup in South Africa.

Leyn Peninusla in Wales is known for its gothic castles and brooding hills. The landscape in this part of Britain is so forebodingly beautiful that it would bring out the poet in you. You might have already thought of owning some kind of property in these parts of the world, but mostly they are unattainable or rarely does someone even put it up for sale.

The Sandals Grande St. Lucian Spa & Beach Resort is something that you must watch out for after a couple of years. It was announced by Sandals just some time ago, and would come with some amazing first ever over-the-water suites in St Lucia. The resort would have 26 brand new over-the-water suites and you could choose between 3 kinds of suites. You could choose to relax in the warm sun and enjoy a cup of tea, or a glass of dark rum.
Some of the other luxurious features of the resort are over-the-water hammocks, outdoor showers and Jacuzzis. You would have the perfect English butlers serving you, and they have a tie-up with Guild of Professional English Butlers. It would have cosy minibars, and you might even be given a pleasant surprise like a candlelit dinner!

How would you describe the English weather? Dark, gloomy and boring? Well on the contrary I think English weather is cold, chilling and simply awesome! There wouldn’t be a single Englishman who would not respect his country’s fickle climate and most would even take it personally if you complain about the drizzling skies and the sleet. Even English summers can be pretty dark and gloomy, just the way I like it.
Here is way to experience the great English weather in all its splendour. Soho’s first boutique hotel, Hazlitt’s has become one of the most popular hotels in London and it is also the only hotel in London to have a retractable glass roof. Each of the hotels’ rooms is named after a historically famous local resident and comes with some amazingly masculine interiors.

The grand Georgian plantation house is suppose to be one of the hallmark Pre-Revolutionary War historic estates in the USA. It was built by Samuel Galloway for his wife, Ann (Chew) Galloway. The house remained in the possession of Galloway family until 1886 after which it was sold to Henry M. Murray. The central portion of the house was built in 1755-56 and the house was enlarged in 1787-90 by Samuel’s son John Galloway by adding the end wings, hyphens and portico.

The best in the world always and certainly do deserve the best. And we think Hollywood actor Tom Hanks would be among the top names on the list. He himself seems to feel so (in a totally cool way if you ask us) as he plunges into a property deal that has made him the owner of the most expensive house in Los Angeles.

When people have an overdose of wealth, it is bizarre but not uncommon to see them give all or at least most of it and pursue either a simple life or put it for philanthropic work. Jon Pedley, a Telecom mogul from England has too become a part of that league. He is selling off Justice Farmhouse, a 16th century vintage property which has been constructed out of oak wood and limestone flooring. Pedley will use the proceeds to relocate to Uganda and get involved in his Children Charity Program better known as Uganda Vision.
Located at a distance of one mile from the village of Finchingfield, one of the most attractive country sides in North West Essex, the house spells vibrancy with respect to its retro style architecture and interiors. It is spread over an area of 1.1 acres covering a well established garden with a terrace, lawns and shrubs and a large pond.

Southern California is one place that everyone wishes to stay at. The yearlong sunshine and the warm weather have encouraged those with beautiful bodies and loads of money to settle and stay there. In the year 1919, William Wrigley, Jr. bought Santa Catalina Island, off the coast of Southern California. The island later grew to be a refuge for extremely wealthy people who stayed there, and the numbers had swelled to 4,000.
Now, the Island is being refurbished at a cost of $11 million and would be thrown open to visitors in 2010. You would have a GPS ranger-guided walking tour and would be a great way to walk up to the 2,097-foot Mt. Orizaba. There is also the Sea Trek Undersea Adventure which would allow you to walk on the sea bed.

Golf is one of the most popular games among the rich, though I fail to understand why. The game is not only slow but also quite boring for all you would do is stand on a patch of green and hit a ball inside a hole. While golf courses certainly are very beautiful, they are also made quite inaccessible to those who genuinely like the game.
