Resident Evil 6 Premium Edition Is The World’s Most Expensive Video Game At $1,300

One of the most anticipated video games for the year 2012, Resident Evil 6, besides continuing the Resident Evil saga will now also become the world’s most expensive video game. The creators of the series, Capcom, has announced that the company has now introduced an all new exclusive game pack entitled, Resident Evil 6 Premium Edition, which will carry a cost of a staggering $1,300 and will provide the gamers with loads of goodies. As per the initial advertising, this grand game pack has been restricted to the Japanese markets only and comes with a replica of a leather jacket worn by game’s protagonist Leon S. Kennedy. Resident Evil 6 is scheduled to be launched on gaming consoles such the Xbox 360 and Sony Playstation 3 on October 4th, 2012, while the Windows version of the game is yet to be announced.

Along with the leather jacket replica, the Resident Evil 6 Premium Edition will also come with four ‘tablet case covers’ that are a direct imitation of the herb items portrayed in the game itself. The jacket of Leon Kennedy will be available in three sizes, namely Small, Medium, Large and  X-Large, while the users can easily go to Capcom’s online store e-Capcom to place their pre-orders. Furthermore, the company has stated that users who pre-order the standard edition of the game will also be entitled to receive a bonus one tablet case cover. Resident Evil 6 picks up the storyline from its predecessor, Resident Evil 5 and take Leon on a quest to make the 1998 Raccoon City Destruction Incident a public knowledge. Gamers can except heightened levels of excitement and a gripping storyline that has made the Resident Evil franchise such a highly successful venture in the world of gaming.
