The Virgin Limited Edition is a luxury travel collection run by billionaire Richard Branson. Virgin Limited Edition’s luxury travel portfolio consists of such exotic paradises as Necker Island and the Roof Gardens in London. The latest addition is Mahali Mzuri in Kenya. This luxury Kenyan safari camp is expected to open to guests next year. Mahali Mzuri sits within the Motorogi Conservancy in the famous Maasai Mara ecosystem. The nearest city, Nairobi, is about 240 km away. The luxury resort includes a dozen camp suites. Together, these accommodate up to 24 guests. It really is ideal for a quick holiday with close and extended family and friends.
Each tent suite will be placed on a raised platform. It will house a large bedroom, bath, sitting space and terrace. But I suspect the USP of the house will be the amazing views of the surrounding African landscape. If you are looking for an African holiday that is filled with action, Mahali Mzuri may be just the thing. Guests will be treated to twice daily game drives. Also on offer are guided walks through the Motorogi and Olare Orok conservancies. Guests can also visit local villages and learn about the Maasai culture. The luxury resort will also feature an infinity pool and spa facilities.
Following the opening of the resort, guests can book themselves in at the rate of $580 per night. This includes food, beverages and daily game drives. The Virgin Limited Edition commits itself to minimizing environmental footprint in the area. Thus, tourism will be low density. The Mahali Mzuri site also aims to provide much of the 50+ jobs to local talent.
