Forbes Marks the 25th Anniversary of Billionaire’s Issue

There couldn’t be anything better than being a billionaire and Forbes knows it. That is perhaps why Forbes Billionaires have a better chance at remaining rich even after spending a lot of money on things that your mother warned you about. In fact, if you took a look at the Bloomberg Billionaire Index, you would realize that most of them are also on the Forbes list. This time around, Forbes is marking its 25th anniversary of the annual Billionaire’s issue. It is one of the sought after magazines that has always been the priceless grab of those who are billionaires. It is that 1% of the 1% that the Occupy protestors reviled.

The youngest billionaires include the Facebook Four and Carlos Slim Helu is at the Number One spot. Amancio Ortega of Spain is at an enviable 5th position and Bill Gates is at the No. 2 spot. He has a net worth of $61 billion, which makes him a really rich individual and thus he continues to figure in this list even after all these years. Bernard Arnault is Europe’s richest person and the third person to feature in this list. He has a net worth of $41 billion.

That is not a lot of difference one must say. Sara Blakely is at the number 1,153 but is the youngest on the list and also the only self made woman to feature in the list and she has a net worth of $1 billion which is not too bad either. I would say, work hard and try to be in the list one day. Or continue spending money things we feature and enjoy your life.
