Tommy by Valdenassi is the Stylish Innovative Deck Chair for Superyachts

Superyachts are synonymous with luxury and need every item to exude luxury. Unfortunately the designers concentrate on the interiors and create luxurious space on the inside. The outside often gets neglected in the process and that is perhaps the reason why you tend to see very similar and unimaginative deck furniture even on luxury super yachts. Valdenassi, who is a specialist in designer furniture and teak fittings for yachts has solved the problem to a great extent. They have been able to break the mould with their new creation.

Their latest creation is called Tommy. It is an original outdoor pouf which traces its inspiration to the box tree. The base of the pouf which resembles a flowerpot is made from polyethylene. The cushion on top is made from weather-proof skai leather. It has a somewhat quirky look but is definitely a unique design. It is an unusual design but rather comfortable and convenient. It can be used as a luncheon seat but is slim enough to be used as an additional cockpit position or a reception chair to be placed along the walkway.

The materials used to make Tommy have been chosen for their ability to resist the harsh saline environment on the deck of a yacht. The leatherette covering of the pouf is treated with Teflon to make its maintenance easier. The Teflon coating ensures that dirt and stains don’t stick to the surface and can be cleaned easily. The base of the pouf is available in three colors, white black and terracotta. The cushion is available in white, black, green, metallic silver or bronze, orange and pink. There is an ultra luxury version with Swarovski crystals available for those who like bling in everything they use.
