Moet & Chandon’s Prized Vintages To Be Celebrated In Style At InterContinental Hong Kong

Get ready for a taste of France in Hong Kong. The latest news on the luxury front has it that the InterContinental Hong Kong will be joining hands with French wine group Moet & Chandon to host an exclusive dinner later this month. The dinner will be held to celebrate Moet & Chandon’s most prized vintage wines.

23 February 2011 is set to be the D-day, when the dinner will be held. Guests at this exclusive dinner will then be raising toasts to the Moet & Chandon Grand Vintage 2002 and the Grand Vintage Rosé 2002. Also sharing the spotlight will be rare vintages of 1992 and 1975 in Magnum. Axelle Araud, Moet & Chandon’s winemaker will travel to Hong Kong for the dinner, where he will be introducing the vintage wines of the day.

Guests will be treated to a five-course menu, paired with suitable champagnes. The executive sous chef of the InterContinental Hong Kong recently travelled to France to visit the headquarters of Moet & Chandon in Epernay, before finalising the menu.

Located along the Kowloon waterfront, the InterContinental Hong Kong is a lesson in luxury, which makes it the perfect venue for celebrating vintage wines from Moet & Chandon. The hotel is being currently lauded as the most stylish in Hong Kong. With guest rooms on offer, the InterContinental Hong is also home to the stunning and spacious, 7,000-square-foot Presidential Suite. Clearly, when it comes to celebrating Moet & Chandon’s famous vintages, only the best will do.
