If you thought your 5 star hotel room was too expensive, think about the money the hotel might have invested in each of the rooms! Talking about investments made by various hotels, you should stop by and think about how much Hyatt would spend on each room in its new Park Hyatt hotel in Manhattan.
It would also be the most expensive hotel ever built in New York, and they would be spending $1.8 million per hotel room. The hotel has been designed by the award winning Christian de Portzamparc. Some of the features that the hotel would come with are bar, restaurant, grand ballroom, spa, fitness centre, indoor swimming pool, and of course a great ambience that could make palaces bow their heads down in shame.
The hotel would have 210 rooms and it would cost about $375 million to be built. It would be built across the Carnegie Hall at 157 W. 57th Street. The new Hyatt in New York would open in 2012. It is not clear still how much each room would cost. I am sure it could be quite expensive even for the seasoned luxury oriented guests.
