Coming November, St. Regis to Make a Grand Debut in Lhasa

Now, its time for Tibetans to experience the royal treatment offered by the St. Regis group of hotels, as they are almost done with its last minute preparations for opening up the St Regis in Lhasa. November 15, 2010 will witness the grand opening of this hotel in sky high Lhasa.

By opening a commercial hotel in a serene place like Lhasa St. Regis has facilitated the entry of other big hotel brands into the same market. Earlier this year hotels like Shangri-La and InterContinental groups had also announced their coming, god knows what Lhasa will turn into after a year! St. Regis Lhasa is located close to Potala Palace, which happens to be one of the major tourist hot-spots.

This hotel will have 162 rooms and villas and will dish out exotic cuisines from three restaurants namely, Si Zi Kang, Social and Yan Ting. The ostentatious wine bar is expected to flaunt a huge variety of wines carefully picked from the vineyards from all across the globe. If you don’t find enough solace in the place itself, then you could try the meditation garden and the Iridium Spa in the hotel. This hotel will cater to the corporate needs and those of leisure travelers as well.
