The Caribbean real estate might be making a comeback. Recently, there have been signs of investors putting their money in this beach paradise. Oil Nut Bay, a luxury resort community on a private peninsula located on the eastern tip of Virgin Gorda that is part of the British Virgin Islands has been under construction. Jewel Box, a beach villa model home was recently opened. The Beach Club on the other hand is expected to open in November/December 2010.
The 300-acre community will have a very low density, with half the area as open space and 88 properties available for freehold whole ownership. It has been designed to be a family-centered community. This place will be quite a treat for everyone with its marine nature center, kids club, full service spa, wellness center, beach club and also a marina. Each property will also have its own boat slip in the marina. One can choose from the beachfront villas or the secluded private estates.
The size of the 27 custom home sites at Oil Nut Bay, range from 1.5 to 10 acres, and are priced from $1.95- $25 million. There are also nine three-to-six bedroom Beach Villas, each having their very own private infinity edge pool. These are listed for $6.95 – 9.95 million. Then there are seven Ridge Villas that are priced at $2.65 – 3.76 million.
