There is a certain charm about living in a house that is prefab, for it allows us to live in an almost personalized environment. Prefab homes are quite popular lately, and contemporary prefab homes are easy to set up and also to live in. The latest prefab home to hit the news is the L41 which is a studio that packs in almost everything that one needs.
It measures 220 sq ft and may not exactly be spacious but it sure comes with built-in storage, living/bedroom space, a kitchen and a bathroom. There is also another model which is slightly bigger and comes with an extra room and that measures 290 sq ft and the 360 sq ft prefab home comes with 2 bedrooms.
They can be set up in prefabricated multi-unit development. These houses are built from beetle killed pine trees and thus are green and eco friendly. Beetle killed trees are also structurally sound and they would not rot even if there is a lot of water or humidity or heat. Apart from the attractive design of the home, you could also expect to find triple-glazed windows, energy efficient appliances, LED lighting, solar heating, heat recovery, and even a pretty little green roof.
