Lurssen will proudly present its brand new creation Solemates at this year’s Monaco Yacht show. The 60 meter brand new yacht will spend its first summer in the Mediterranean after making its debut in Monaco. The exterior design of the voluminous yacht is dominated by sleek, curved features which have been extended throughout the whole yacht. The interiors of the yacht has been designed by Glade Johnson who has successfully blended elegant rich woods and textures with contemporary sleek lines and as a result has created very generous and warm areas.
The new yacht has a lot of space. There are large spaces for formal dining inside and casual dining outside. There are areas which can be used for relaxation, watching TV or playing games. The sundeck has a large seating area with a Jacuzzi. There are disco sound system and lighting on the sun deck for night entertainment.
There is ample space for the guests as well. Four guest cabins located on the lower deck are spacious and well designed with extra large vertical portholes. The fifth guest cabin situated on the upper deck is relatively smaller but equally comfortable. The new yacht is fitted with two Caterpillar engines of 1,455 kw each that can hit a top speed of 15.5 knots and give the yacht a range of 7,000 nautical miles. The engines are very quiet for its size as they have the latest and most advanced sound and vibration features.
