Abu Dhabi Yacht Show to Feature More than 30 Luxury Yachts

The Middle East is a funny place, and things have always been volatile in the region. While it is hard to accept that the region is troubled and has political and military turmoil, the region is also known for gems like Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Dubai has recently been in news because of the credit crunch and Abu Dhabi seemed to be doing better than its more glamorous counterpart.

Dubai had held the Dubai Boat Show sometime back and now it is the time of Abu Dhabi to do the same thing. More than 30 gleaming luxury yachts would sail aorund Abu Dhabi at the second Abu Dhabi Yacht Show at the Yas Marina. You could check out amazing yachts such as 103-metre Loaloat Al Behar, once owned by the Sultan of Oman, and the sleek, 73-metre Silver Zwei.

There would also be the 85 meter Alysia which comes with its own helipad and swimming pool. It is expected to cost $100 million. Franck Dailles, the group director of Informa Yacht Group who is organizing the show reveals that up to 10,000 visitors may arrive and one could check out about 140 exhibitors.
