Chicago is one of the largest cities in the USA and when it comes to luxury hotels, there is no dearth of them. While it is easy to find great hotels in this metropolis, a uniquely boutique luxury hotel was what the city lacked. With The Elysian coming into picture, looks like Chicago is going to change for good. It is located at 11, East Walton Street between State and Rush streets.
It is a 60 story structure and is located in the city’s most affluent neighbourhood. It cost $280 million to build it and room rates cost between $345 to $1,175 a night. The question however is who might want to spend so much to stay in a city like Chicago, when recession is still managing to hold its grip over people.
The hotel for sure looks really remarkable and luxurious, and it almost looks like a world class hotel. Now, there might be a great market for such niche hotels and thus it may actually not be a bad idea to open such luxury hotels. We must just wait and watch what is going to happen when this cool hotel becomes even more famous.
