Vintage Rolex Price Smashes World Record

Under the hammer were 481 timepieces, but this one saw some fierce bidding. The auction saw a lot of potential interest from Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Russian Federation and the United States, besides internet based interest.

Not without reason. The watch is an extremely rare piece, very fine and water resistant, is made of 18 kt yellow gold wristwatch, bezel set with 28 baguette diamonds and its dial set with 240 diamonds and nine sapphires.
