Jewelry brand inspired by the iconic artist Patrick Nagel to be out in 2011

Best known for creating the cover of Duran Duran’s album “RIO” , the artist par excellence, Patrick Nagel’ works have graced everything from Intel to Budweiser ads, and even the pages of Playboy magazine.
His widow, Jennifer Dumas, The Patrick Nagel Collection of Art, Character Vision and United Brands Worldwide have collaborated Patrick Nagel jewelry, luxury and fashion accessories brand, obviously inspired by to establish the his artwork. Lyle Rose, president of United Brands, said that, “We are honored to work closely with Jennifer Dumas and her agents at Character Vision to reflect the essence and artistic genius of Patrick Nagel. Together, we plan to develop and market consumer products worldwide, utilizing the powerful intellectual property of Nagel’s exclusive images and artwork.”

Nigel was known for his stylized works characterized by images of women with black hair, paper-white skin and red lips. The exquisite works of this great artist who left us for heavenly abode in 1984, , can be found in the permanent collections of the Library of Congress, the Smithsonian Institute and the Musée des Arts Décoratifs, as well as with many private collectors.

The Patrick Nagel Jewelry, Luxury, and Fashion Accessories collections will be launched in a limited edition at high end department stores and specialty retail stores by the fall of 2011. I am sure it will be a collection to look forward to.
