The Platinum cake’s creation was sponsored by Platinum Guild International, where in the company wished to showcase the cake at a promotional event, in an effort to bring Japanese women closer to Platinum jewelry. Sparkling gems and luxury jewelry has always been quite enticing for the ladies and with the creation of this most expensive Platinum cake, its sponsors are now trying to gather the attention of the female customers towards platinum jewelry.
