While earlier your eyes and ears were glued to the variety of Chinese artwork i.e. “The Massacre of Chiosâ€, “Jade Seal†and others, its time to celebrate the recognition of China’s most expensive painting—Execution. The painting generated whooping bids and was finally sold for $5.9 million (2.9 million pounds) at Christie’s scheduled auction of Chinese artwork in London.
This oil painting is a creation by a renowned Beijing artist Yue Min Jun, who has been fetching millions of dollars of money for his countless artistic creation viz. “The Pope†got sold $4.37 mn and “The Massacre at Chios†generated $4.1 million. But fortunately none of them could break the deserving gratitude of ‘Execution’.
