They have created a special, real diamond stamp for Queen’s Diamond Jubilee. It is truly a collector’s item and will add great value to your royal collection. The exclusive stamp will be released in a limited edition. Only 600 pieces of the commemorative stamp will be produced and released to the public on the first come first served basis. Every sheet will have not one but two stamps, one of the reigning Queen while the other will be of her father King George VI. The unique feature of the stamp is that a 1,25mm diamond is being embedded in the diadem crown of the Queen on the stamp.
Jersey Post will be releasing the special stamps on the 6th of February this year. The crown worn by the Queen in the stamp is the same that she wore during the procession to her coronation in 1953. The sheet is further enhanced by embossing and hot foil on the Imperial State Crown at the centre of the sheet. The sheet is priced at 125 British Pounds which is about $190. Since there would be only 600 sheets available lot of people are sure to be disappointed at not getting one. The resale value of the stamp is sure to go up significantly.
