The Beverly Hills Hotel needs no introduction and is one of the most luxurious hotels in the world. Located where all the stars live, the hotel is already one of the favourites of the world. It announced that the 100th anniversary would be celebrated in style and with that in mind, the hotel shall go through a process of thoughtful refurbishment. The hotel’s signature banana leaf will be left untouched and so shall the wall paper, green and white stripes. The pink exterior would be left untouched too. However, everything else would be upgraded and made to look different and more in sync with times. Their Anniversary package is one of the best I have heard so far.
The hotel’s general manager Edward Mady had revealed back in October that the guests’ rooms would feature more soft goods and there would be a lot of technology as well. This means that they are going to fix iPads in every place you might want to dabble with one. The Polo Lounge restaurant would be upgraded too and in the pink palace, everyone knows that per night it costs $450 and above. This is a hotel with heritage and luxury and should be treated as such.
The next time you are in Hollywood or in Los Angeles, you know where to live! Such hotels are time tested and reflect luxury’s glory and heritage. It is one of the most important hotels in the world and it really was time that it was given some refurbishing love. They would also serve a $100 cocktail as part of the 100th anniversary.
