Good or bad, but I have a fad for innovative electronic things. Not all my belongings are pricey but truly they make up for out-of-the-box argot.  To count on fingers, I have never compromised on my foot wears, handbags and wrist watches. And here I am celebrating the receipt of my flashy red i-toc aluminium model.

Literally, this elite creation from UK-based designer Sean Zoegawatch looks a little bizarre on its first-look–a neat rectangle minus hour and minute hand. But yes, it deserves the title of wristwatch as i-toc works on a revolutionary principle.

To be straight, the finished model comes with “graduated” discs (the inner one reflecting hours and outer one pointing to minutes).  Not to mention , I struggled for couple of minutes fixing time and dealing with its “overlong” strap until I discovered that the extra length of the strap needs to be chopped (one section at a time), thereby maintaining a gap of approx 30 mm where you finally carry it. Not to brag, it’s a real beauty man!

1)    3 ATM water resistance (30 minutes @ 1 m).
2)    Colored crown and matching resin side panels.
3)    2-disc Japan Quartz movement.
4)    Silicon rubber strap/stainless steel “butterfly” clasp.

The i-toc watch comes with a 1-year warranty (excluding strap and battery replacement). Mind you counted 400 such watches are produced so hurry if you have already lost your heart to this angel.

Watches always have been people’s favourite accessories and that is perhaps why we see so many designs. Most watches that we see are either too technical or just beautiful to look at. Casio has always kept a balance between the two and has released a new wristwatch called the PRX-2000T. This watch also has certain other features like informing the user what the temperature is. In fact, it acts as a streamlined weather station.

It weighs 105 grams, which could be quite heavy for a slender wrist. You can keep track of altitude, temperature, compass direction, air pressure and other such meteorological statistics. The watch will be available in Japan from April 1st and will cost about $1,000.

The watch would later be released all over the world. This certainly is a great watch which I would buy without hesitating, had I the money. However, I am quite broke to spend $1,000 on a watch. Ah, temptations, is there a remedy for that?

If you are big time James Bond fan and wants the world to know this bit then a silent yet obvious way to flaunt it is to carry Veldini Q wristwatch inspired by 007. Stimulated by the gadgets, luxury, class, character, and darker side of James Bond, this luxury creation by designer Taylor Welden is in its pre-production stage and word is around counted three models would be produced. The design team is hoping to substitute its Pierce Brosnan and laser cutting watch appeal with spy tools, hence offering it a masculine touch that is functional enough.

It features three modular card forms viz. outdoor, spy, and everyday with each one having its own set of tools i.e. a set of pick locks, a glass cutter, a blade, and other sundry accessories that is complimented by a mirror, a blade and bottle opener. They say the sterling silver model is anticipated to demand $2-3k, Gold or Rose Gold would be retailed at $5-7k whist the Platinum version will be priced in the $10-15k range.
