Time has come (in most places across the world) to grab your skates and sip hot chocolate in a skating rink with your bumchums. We are not suggesting any major deviation from that except for some real luxurious and classy skates to replace the rather common ones you already own. We are referring to a collection that goes by the name of ‘In the world of animals’ that comes with 15 different models of stylish skates that have been hand decorated with sparkling Swarovski crystals all over.
In fact, we hear that famous figure skater Anastasia Grebenkin, who is also known as an actress and radio broadcaster, was quite perturbed with the missing sparkle in her attire required for an otherwise flawless and elegant sport. Well, now she cannot complain anymore.

Let us be honest, there are handbags for summer and then there are handbags for winter (do not fret, we are not ignoring the possibilities for spring, rain and fall). We just think that it is fashionably a very bad idea to mix the two aforementioned seasons. Just take a dekko at the Tory Burch Nico Shearling Satchel and you will know what we are talking about. This fashion accessory-cum-utility is a perfect match for you winter coat, which we think might be back from the dry cleaners.
The satchel in question exudes a winter style that will keep you warm with happiness and style. There are furry shearling edges that impress upon a strong sense of warmth and comfort, a reassurance one always needs. At the same time, it looks very elegant thanks to the signature ‘T’ hooks that hold the handle.

How does a wooden sled doubling up as a coffee table sound to you? Good, we hope. Because our creative instincts have been quite impressed with this cool idea to add a dose of the winter inside the living room as you sip on that perfect brew with the cosy group you always like to hang out with.
The Sled Coffee Table is being sold with its very own Snow White Rug. Available at Duffy London, this one has a a price tag of 595 European Pounds. It is actually shaped like a traditional child’s sled that sits comfy into a thick white rug with two deep grove cuts to fit in the skis. The whole scene gives the impression of compressed snow inside your home.

Come winter and all homes will be glowing with the familiar glow of the warm, cosy hearths in their living rooms. Now the deal is, which of these fireplaces will dare to be different from the rest vis-a-vis the design, functioning or even the eco-friendliness! Well, that’s a toughie. While you figure the big mystery, let us present to you the world’s first and only spherical wall-mounted fireplace. Called Cupola, this one comes from the same fellas at Vauni who earned kudos for the ‘Globe’ fireplace.
Back to Cupola, this beauty can be mounted on the wall just like a flat-screen TV. Not just flaunting a unique shape, this one displays a very superior technology too. The adjustable bio-ethanol burner lets you enjoy a very vent-less routine of hassle-free and safe flames.

Even though the winter season is still far away, it is not stopping folks from readying themselves for the upcoming months well in advance. Winter might be off for a couple of months now but even that fact is not stopping us from admiring FIRE, which is a unique coffee table with a in-built fireplace. Yes, you heard it right. This cool…err…hot furniture unit created by German designer Axel Schaefer is a great catch if your are looking for some early shopping for the winter.
The integrated firplace is good enough to keep you room warm and cosy. Apart from being so very functional, the coffee table also flaunts an asymmetric body with clean and clear finish in HPL, high pressure laminate. As a result, FIRE looks glossy while promising the ultimate in durability.

Louis Vuitton has struck gold twice with popular singing idol Madonna signing on with them for a second time to play muse for Marc Jacobs’ forthcoming autumn.winter collection. And let’s be blunt, the endeavour also aims to reinvent Madonna in the eyes of her fans who have been missing some classy action from her end, frankly, we had become a wee bit tired of the messy divorces.
Made to look like a sumptuous and decadent heroine from the Golden film era, Madonna is scorching hot thanks to photographer Steven Meisel and art director Jacobs (yes, he doubled up roles here). It is indeed a very new form of the famous celeb that we get to see here. The ads have been inspired by the Surrealist technique solarisation perfected by Man Ray.

No more back-breaking shoveling. Just relax inside while the snow melts for you. No, this has nothing to do with Global Warming! It’s the ‘Heated Traction Mats’ that you can simply layout on your line walkways or even your driveway to do the job.
Ideal to clear the path to your front door from snow and ice, it is designed to be left out for the entire winter season – a wonderful way to greet guests. Just plug it into any standard 120V outlet and enough heat to melt 2″ of snow per hour is generated. Maybe not very impressive but a definite help to the elderly, those with back problem and a ready help at hand in difficult situations.
This Non-slip, UV-protected rubber construction with 6’ cord mat is a bit pricey, for 15? long x 24” wide it will cost you $1,099 and the price increases with greater dimensions. Maybe not a great idea if you want to save electricity because it melts at snails pace. And a heartbreak for kids perhaps who shovel for pocket money, but owing to its huge price, take it easy kids. The idea might work for public use in places like a hotel or office buildings etc. though.
