Apart from the chairs, one can also get these unqiue scultpure models that let’s say combine the scooter handle and lower body of a mannequin. It does sound a bit crazy but it sure looks quirky and good.

According to it maker, the bicyle is great combination of his three passions, which we shall share (do not fret) – leathercraft, streetfashion and luxury.

For the uninitiated, ‘porteur’ means a type of cargo bike which was originally used by newspaper sellers in Paris. Yvars has tried to recreate the same vehicle of yore. And this was no mean task considering that fact that it took the designer a year to track down the bicycle parts. Again, let us remind you that the man has created the whole thing all by himself except for the frame painting and wheelbuilding.

There are several strokes of a simple genius seen in the Leather X Porteur bike like the hip flask attachment under the saddle as well as the hand-stitched detailing on the leather tube cover. The hardwork gone into making this one is more than evident. The big tyres add extra comfort in riding this one. Hans-Günther Zach is not a new name for Rolls-Royce loyalists. Well, for those of you who aren’t let us tell you that this man is famous for his own museum that is dedicated to the well-known marque in Main, Germany. And now he is planning to sell off his entire collection  including the very famous Star of India. This is a one of its kind vintage 1934 Phanton II 40/50 HP Continental ‘All-Weather Convertible’ that was custom made for the Maharaja of Rajkot.

The car is tOuted as the most expensive in the world as it would fetch nothing less than €10 million. Zach is accpeting bids all through September for his other cars too that include 24 Rolls-Royces, 3 Bentleys and a 1926 Rolls-Royce 40/50 HP I Open Tourer that was put togethe for the Maharaja of Nanpara; this one is better known as the Aluminum Sculpture wing to his highly polished aluminum body and chassis.

You would say that Zach was truly taken over by the Indian fetish for Rolls-Royce. Well, you won’t be wrong for there is a third car too that belonged to the Maharajah of Rewa. Called the Hunting Car, it is a Phantom II Cabriolet. Again, Zach is also selling a 1920 40/50 Silver Ghost Coupé de Ville made for Jean Hennessy.

If you haven’t heard of the special event called Woodies On the Wharf, then you must get in touc with folks from Santa Cruz and they shall tell you what a big thing it is in their town and with vintage car lovers all over the world. And this year on June 27, we even heard that some 200 woody cars took part in it. Some of the four-wheelrs came all the way from British Columbia.

And we must mention that each and every Woddy car is true blue collectible item. The beauty is classic and the engines are original, so you can put your best bet on these dream machines. By the way, if you did not know the name Woody comes from the partial wooden body of the car. This wood is covered in a clear varnish to make it blend with the rest of the car paint.

In the era gone by, Woodies were built on by big cars like the Rolls-Royce but later woodies have been produced in cars of all shapes and sizes. The starting price of a woody is $50,000 and can go as high as $200,000.

Vintage timepieces can never go out of fashion. And coming from Jaeger Lecoultre with the Hermes stamp, you can well expect the bomb this travel alarm clock would be. We hear that this gorgeous piece was sold and signed by French retailer Hermes making it a true Vintage Hermes other than being a Vintage Jaeger Lecoultre, of course.

The alarm clock comes with a JLC movement that manually wound. The mechanism also has the capacity of a 8-day power reserve which is marked bu the circled ‘8′ above 6 o’clock.

The alarm is a pop-up one and has been made in stainless steel. The exterior of the clock is  covered in Bordeaux leather with a unique ability to be folded up so that its face is covered when you are travelling. Also, the  original movement of the watch was recently overhauled, so the consumers need not worry about its smooth functioning. The price tag reads $1,050. We know you’d point out that a little while ago we wrote saying that Hermes is down and out as far as the watch sales go, but let’s not forget thatVintage is always a hot buy.

Aptly said: “Old is Gold.” After a never-ending saga about Vintage cars, it’s turn for vintage Jeans. We all love to live in present with the reveries of past and with a great hope for future. Right?? Neatorama lately scanned into ebay and came out with an inviting piece of news for brand-addicted Gen X. Pictured above is a pair of vintage jeans that says it all. This aged pair of LEVI’S jeans is over 100-years old and was picked from a mine located in the Rand Mining District, on the Mojave Desert, California. Donned in candle wax melted from the candles used by miners then to beam the burrow they was operational in, the jeans was found along with an ancient paper bag bearing the name of a mercantile store that was open between 1895 and 1898 in the town or Randsburg.

I am surprised to hear that out of the 48 bids made so far, the highest running figure has touched a mark of $17,600. I am pretty confident that in another 8-hours (only time left), it would reach the proud bidder after generating a deserving sales amount.
