If you are the kind of person who believes in good fine and fine wine, you really would know how to live life. However, while serving food, you might have realized it isn’t always easy to keep the food and wine without toppling the bottle. This elegant dish designed by Young Sang Eun for Veuve Clicquot not only looks stylish and chic but can hold both food and wine in the same place.
It is almost a surrealist design that in my opinion totally blows your mind. The dish apparently even maintains the temperature of your food and wine and chills it just enough to set your palates on fire, in a good way. I would love to get one of these dishes myself, if only I could lay my hands on them!

Over lunch at Madame Clicquot’s Country House, Andrea Crippa, Directeur Marketing & RP International for Veuve Clicquot, in association with Porsche Design are launching a unique concept in the form of a ice bucket. The product was showcased in an equally unique manner- at a lunch party at Madame Clicquot’s Country House, Andrea Crippa, Directeur Marketing & RP International.
The hi-tech ice bucket got life after 5 years of R&D. You simply need to put in the bottle of wine inside the box and you will get a cool drink around 20 minutes later. The bottle will stay chilled for at least 4 hours afterwards. There is no scope for improvemet as far as design and looks is concerned. So all said and done, this is your best bet in the market (when it will be finally launched in 2009).

And the very mention of Veuve Clicquot again would make you bath in champagne but this time not in an isolated room rather on a cruise in open sky. Yes, if you failed to put your fingers upon Veuve Clicquot Night Clubber and the lavish Champagne that they produced to celebrate their 130th anniversary then here is another that you make you feel surely high. Against its earlier association with Karim Rashid for Globalight Cum Champagne Cooler, now Veuve Clicquot is in news for designing a cruise collection for luxury Italian boat designer RIVA. Jason Bruges Riva is the luxury speedboat company behind the iconic boats of the 60’s and the golden age of the Dolce Vita lifestyle. The design collaboration with Riva is for Veuve Clicquot’s top champagne (prestige cuvee) called La Grande Dame, and details two different accessories for Riva boats: a “made to order” piece and a limited edition one.

The “made to measure” cruise collection would cost $80,000 and includes 4 bottles of La Grande Dame 98, 2 magnums of La Grande Dame 88, 6 champagne flutes Riedel and 6 water tumblers, plates, table mats and cutlery. Another one is a limited edition cruiser bag with counted 300 pieces available and includes a bottle of La Grande Dame 98 and two champagne flutes. Expected to be available from July, it is priced at $425 and would be available at Veuve Clicquot.
All the pieces are made of mahogany, chrome and leather – and made by some of the world’s best craftsmen.

Wine patrons can calm down their fetish need by visiting Bonhams London headquarters on 30 April. News is Bonhams auction house would be displaying the atypical vintages right from the vault of the celebrated Mirabelle restaurant located in London. Around 300 lots of wine from the Michelin based restaurant will be accessible, including sparkling wines viz. Dom Pérignon Oenothéque, Krug Collection, Clos des Papes, Veuve Clicquot, and esteemed old bottles of First Growths from Latour 1916. The Mirabelle cellar variety of spirits up for bidding would roughly count to be more than $200,000.
The Mirabelle was habitually a sure-shot destination for top names viz. Winston Churchill, Laurence Olivier, Orson Welles and Vivien Leigh and noticeably, there was a table was reserved for royalty. Those amongst you are fervent vintage wine collector; the London-based Bonhams is inviting you to enjoy the spree with them.

Karim Rashid is no alien to the world of design and innovation. His creative levels stand at par and this is clearly exemplified in designer Sphere Bed. After designing ‘Loveseat’ during last year together with Veuve Clicquot, year 2008 will witness their second joint creation. Dubbed as Globalight, it would be featured at the Milan furniture fair on 16 April, 2008. This is another revolution as it doesn’t limits itself to the tag of designer piece conveying a soft halo light (maintains the temperature of champagne for at least 2 hours) but also functions as a portable cooler.
This limited piece edition designer creation is available only in counted 500 pieces and is deservingly priced at $4000 a pop.

This device enables you enjoy champagne while relaxing. It is a true masterpiece. This has led to the latest association between Veuve Clicquot and renowned figures in the design industry such as Andre Putman, Pablo Reinoso, Pucci, Christophe Pillet, Christian Schwamkrug of Porsche Design Studio, and Jason Bruges.
