The USS Galileo, from Alpine School District’s Christa McAuliffe Space Education Center is a wonderful way to show how geeky you are. Now what is such a geeky thing doing on a luxury related blog? Well, I believe sometimes we all have dark desires that we do not necessarily admit in front of everyone.
One such could be to have a fortress of nerditude which is almost a space ship right in the living room. The USS Galileo simulator comes with stations, networking, speakers, a main viewscreen and all things that are futuristic. Apparently, it will cost anything more than $1000 so be ready to spend an amount much higher than that. I especially like the cool design and the quirky way in which it is built.

Collectible toys are not a new idea but it sure is one that never goes out of fashion. At the San Diego Comic-Con last weekend, folks got to see a cool collection of four action figures that belonged to the ‘Sargrasso Planet’ at the booth of Tempting Toys. And the dealer himself knew very little about them except for the fact that he was just displaying them for a private collector.
You can’t even guess the price, which by the way is $147,000. On some research, we discovered that the four alien toys go by the name of Insectillian, Rocky, Robo and Calcious but they aren’t so famous. In fact, even Sargasso Planet isn’t. You don’t get much enlightened by the website itself.

Eco gadgets are all the rage now an although some of the gadgets have only the eci-friendliness as their high point, others come out as so completely refreshing and interesting that you just have to try it out. If you were like most all kids during your childhood, then you probably had a walkie talkie that you drove your folks mad with.
This walkie talkie is much like what you must have had when you were a kid (apart from the fact that this one definitely has a cooler design) but there is so much more to it. The Wind Up Walkie Talkies work just like cheap windup toys: sans batteries. Although, it can be powered with the 6V mains adaptor, you only need wind it for a minute to keep it working for ten minutes and talk on it for 2 minutes. On full charge, the talkies can go on for 8 whole hours.

The only thing that was missing from our dream future home was a robo. But now it can come true or a cool and irresistible android is up for sale. The name is Mazinger Z. Well, if you are Japanese or have spent considerable time in that country, this name will not be new to you. And for the uninitiated, let us tell you that this was a popular animation tele show created by Go Nagai way back in 1970s.
So, you can safely assume tat this one is the original super robo that later inspired other series and toy lines in the same brand as well as in others. By the way, Mazinger Z is your Tranzor Z in the US. Okay coming back to the ‘for sale’ bit, well, the robo made in titanium and other advanced materials is expected to fetch $20,400.

Gaming fans would love Luke Skywalker’s X-Wing Starfighter ‘Red five’ which is quite functional too. Gaming enthusiasts would know that the Red Five was a legendary fighter jet in which Luke Skywalker flew and led the X-Wings of Red Squadron and destroyed the evil Death Star.
The toy is as close to the real thing as possible for it has been digitally scanned and comes with original resin construction. The accessories, parts, engines and cockpits are so detailed you would mistake it for the real thing you have seen in games. This toy was inspired by the World War II and the model has been engineered and designed by professionals and could be the envy of your friends and neighbours.
