The same can be clearly seen in the driver technology of these speakers with an excellent use of exotic multi-layer composite sandwich cones. The finishing is in neutral classic piano black. Robots are always fascinating and even cute to look at. It surely does take a lot of thinking and creativity to design a robot, and those who design one are known as either geniuses or nerds. Sometimes you have to accept these sobriquets for being creative. We have discovered a very interesting robot named “Nerdbot”, which catches your attention immediately with their cool designs.

What is even more interesting about these robots is the designers themselves. Nicholas and Angela, a married couple from Kansas City, Missouri both simply love robots. Their common fascination of robots made them design these beautiful and unique robots on their own.

Apparently, the couple worked very hard to find the parts of the robots. They visited many thrift and antique stores to search for the parts before design these one-of-a-kind robots. Interestingly, these robots are potty trained and so, you need not worry about the oil leaks. The robots are available between the price range of $185 and $245. The robots are available in different looks and designs. So, go ahead and pick your choice. I am going to pick up at least a couple of them.

If you were wondering which could be the best camera lately up for sale, you might have thought of a 14 MP camera that you thought was the best. However, you would need to be ready and hold your breath to be ready to face what you are going to read. Here is a camera that comes with a 50 megapixel resolution.

The Hasselblad H3DII-50 MS comes with 50 Mp camera and it captures four consecutive shots by moving the sensor by one pixel between each shot. It thus records all the RGB values and you would also have to spend some astronomical amount to get this camera. It looks pretty normal and ordinary but the hidden monster costs $34,000, which according to me is a lot for a camera.

I can’t believe anyone would buy a camera so expensive unless they took their photography really seriously. SO, if you are really serious about your photography and you plan to win the famous photojournalism award. Nevertheless, if you really want the Pulitzer award, you can go ahead and buy this camera but trust me, it is not the camera that matters the most but it is the photographer who brings the frozen subject to life.

Most of us who are into photography would know that cameras that are amazingly specs-efficient are not very sturdy. Even if a drop of water falls on them, you might risk losing your camera. Moreover, when you are visiting hard terrain there is always the risk of dropping your camera especially if you are trekking up a red hill. In that case you do not just need a water-proof camera but also a shock resistant camera.

However, most of these rugged cameras are bulky and take up a lot of space. Casio has launched the Casio EX-G1 which is the thinnest rugged watch in the world and measures just .78 inches. It even comes with a 12.1 megapixel resolution and looks amazingly chic. Just because it is rugged, it doesn’t mean you have to compromise on sleekness, size or the look!

It comes with a cool 2.5 inch view screen and is available in black or red. It costs $300 and in my opinion, it is a damn good camera. I am certainly buying one when I have the money. This is the kind of camera you need to keep if you travel a lot, as it looks good, is pretty cheap, is rugged, shock resistant and is also waterproof.

Inesa Malafej and Arunas Sukarevicius from Lithuania must love music and have a great body. The designers must love their musk so much that they can’t stop listening to music while running or working out. They have lunched the cool Dancepants Kinetic Music Player which generates electricity when you run which is in turn used by the mp3 player.

So long as you are running, you will have the mp3 player playing. If you stop running you may end up not being able to listen to music. It is an amazing idea I must say. When you are in the park, you could jog for many minutes and listen to your favourite music all along. Just make sure you hear if someone is calling out your name from behind. The MP3 player can be easily kept in your pockets.

The kinetic energy is converted from your feet when you are running and that electricity helps you to listen to music. I somehow don’t get the idea of this product as the music would stop once you stop running. What if you had to stop for a minute to catch breath and would not like to the music to stop playing? I guess you need to carry an iPod as well. So much for going green!

Wallpapers give our rooms a very unique personality and we all love to go around and experiment with the various themes available. But how would you like to bring home wallpaper that is much stronger than your wall itself? As unbelievable as that sounds Berry Plastics, in partnership with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, has managed to design X-Flex, a wallpaper that will hold your home together even when hit by blast waves of an explosion. Perfect for war situations, protection, reinforcement and dangers presented by a world in which terrorism is spreading its ugly wings X-Flex acts as a mesh that will prevent the walls from collapsing.

X-Flex is so easy to use that one needs to just peel off the wallpaper’s sticky backing, apply the rollable sheets to the inside of brick or cinder-block walls, and reinforce it with fasteners at the edges. The added bonus of this technology is that you ca actually do all this and protect your home in matter of an hour. The technology is such a success that US forces are now thinking of lining their bases in Afghanistan and Iraq with the X-Flex.

Berry Plastics is promising a consumer version of the technology in the near future and when it does hit the stores expect many to line up for a trial. Its makers are even trying out a fabric version of the strong X-Flex… Now that would be real cool indeed!

LED is much appreciated, be it in eco-friendly electronics or on your clothes. It doesn’t matter, we just love to see it everywhere! LED clothing really isn’t anything new for we have seen the likes of glow fur coats, LED tops and brassieres. But so far, these clothes were seen to be the forte of techie geeks alone. However, thing will change now. The London based designer duo CuteCircuit has taken matter in their hands to create a spectacular Galaxy Dress.

It took the winners of the Best Inventions of 2006 Award by Time Magazine for their Hug shirt close to 24,000 full color LEDs to design their new trend. Already being claimed as the largest wearable display in the world, the Galaxy Dress is quite a sight. It has been made from silk and then embedded with full-color LEDs. But this has been done without letting go og the comfy feel of the dress. The LEDs are like flat paper and measure only 2 by 2 mm.

CuteCircuit designers, Francesca Rosella and Ryan Genz say that they have kept the circuits extra-think and flexible. These have been hand embroidered on the layer of silk such that it lets the LED fabric to stretch while behaving like normal fabric in lightness and fluidity. Several iPod batteries power this dress. These have enough charge to keep you glowing for a good 30 minutes.

The USS Galileo, from Alpine School District’s Christa McAuliffe Space Education Center is a wonderful way to show how geeky you are. Now what is such a geeky thing doing on a luxury related blog? Well, I believe sometimes we all have dark desires that we do not necessarily admit in front of everyone.

One such could be to have a fortress of nerditude which is almost a space ship right in the living room. The USS Galileo simulator comes with stations, networking, speakers, a main viewscreen and all things that are futuristic. Apparently, it will cost anything more than $1000 so be ready to spend an amount much higher than that. I especially like the cool design and the quirky way in which it is built.

You could perhaps invite your friends over and take them on a journey through space right in the middle of your living room. I am sure the Simulator can also be used after a long booze party when the childhood desire of being an astronaut resurfaces under the influence of alcohol! SO go ahead and get this cool USS Galileo simulator. If I could, I would buy one.
