The Louis Vuitton Tambour watch collection created headlines with the Tambour Mysterieuse which recreated watches after the style of Jean-Eugene Robert Houdin.
Calibre LV115 is the latest edition to the Tambour Mysterieuse series. The series is also part of the first series which is completely manufactured and assembled by Louis Vuitton in their workshop in Switzerland. The time piece gives a sense of mystery with the hour and minute indicators floating on completely transparent mobile sapphire discs. The handmade watch has 8 day power reserve and are available in three models. One that stands on simplistic and minimalist elegance, second that exudes more style and the third that carries a completely feminine style adorned with girls’ best friends.

The Tambour Mystérieuse, as the name suggests, is a mysterious piece that elevates the materialisation of time. The Tambour Mystérieuse has a display piece emblazoned with the brand name which is elevated by placing it on sapphire crystal disks. Not only does this create the illusion that the piece is floating inside the bezel but it also gives the watch the signature mysterious title. The Tambour Mystérieuse is available as a manual or automatic and come with a host of customising options. You can choose what stones go on the watch and even the metal which makes up the casing.
