Expensive Italian sunglasses are like a fashionable necessity without which we just can’t think of stepping out in the scorching heat thesedays. But we are forced t think about those times when you are enjoying the land-lubbing sports. What do you do then to protect your eyes? Tag Heuer seems to have the answer with new Intensive HD lenses that they have launched in the market.
The shades in question are vermillion-hued and are photochromatic. They go from translucent in mild light to a sexy mirrored silver reflective thingy when in bright lights. If it helps their case, let us tell you that these are the first lenses to be able to shift from semi-transparent to fully mirrored while maintaining all the dimensional details of the view ahead.

TAG Heuer has every reason to be happy this year. For starters, they won the Red Dot award recently and now they are all set to celebrate the 40th anniversary of its glorious Monaco watch. Famously referred to as the McQueen Monaco, this timepiece was personally endorsed by Steve McQueen in the film Le Mans.
Have no doubt, TAG Heuer wants to make this occasion one to be remembered for a long time. And that is just why the brand has launched an updated version of the Monaco watch. So much for the extra touch, the case back of each piece in this limited edition is signed by TAG Heuer honorary chairman Jack Heuer along side an engraving that says “in tribute to Steve McQueen”.

One only needs an excuse to luxury. As if the limits of luxury for mobile phones have not already been crossed, TAG Heuer has come up with a diamond studded mobile phone. The latest Meridiist Diamant collection has two phones, one with 208 diamonds on its skin that sums up to 1.3 carats and the other, hold your breath, has as many as 1,232 diamonds that form 7.4 carats.
The second model being featured is touted as “imperial regalia of mobile phones’. The diamonds have meticulously been set in rows along the phone’s angled sides and the display screen.
On the camera shutter on the instrument’s rear side, a set of diamonds has been etched in TAG Heuer logo shape. Interestingly, the Swiss watchmaker firm is eyeing the women’s market to push these fancy pieces. It is another question how many women would venture out to pick up something as fancy as these models.
The phone features more than 430 mechanical components, many of which are from TAG Heuer chronographs. Meridiist phones have a non-scratch 60.5 carat sapphire crystal display, a stainless steel body and personalized digital engineering.
The mobile phones are priced between $ 10,000 and $ 30,000. Meriddist Diamant phones, true to their ultra-jewelled style, are presented in a glossy wooden jewellery box.
