Indian car market is a quite a dismal scene usually, when it comes to luxury cars. Most cars that are bought and sold in India are entry level box typed cars which can be an assault on the senses. With not many takers for cool cars like Mustangs or Ferrari, most luxury car manufacturers are not even aware of the country’s existence let alone the existence of a luxury car market in this post-socialist, thickly populated, ex-third world country.

Now, Nissan Motor India is launching the sixth generation Z car, the 370Z which is expected to cost Rupees 5,400,000. It shall compete against other few luxury cars in the market such as the BMW Z4, Mercedes Benz AMG and Audi R8. The car is priced lower than its competitors, as India is a price sensitive market. This sports car has generated interest among the elite few of the country, who might have been abroad and seen other cool cars and wished they would get something cool like that back home. There is no information yet about why India was chosen for the car to be launched, but I guess it was a good thing to do for Nissan.

Dutch automobile company Spyker has been manufacturing awesome cars for almost a century now and their range of sports cars which they have been making for about a decade now are drawn from the experience of these years. Their latest sports car, the C8 Aileron Spyder, seems to be styled after their classic C8 Spyder SWB (short wheel base). The C8 Spyder SWB which was auctioned off at the sports & Classics Monterey auction was designed after the planes that the company made during its short stint with the aviation industry.

The car has a 400hp 4.2lt V8 engine and can go 0 to 60mph in 4.5 seconds last night. The Spyders start at $200,000 and are usually styled in steampunk fashion. Most of the models offer customised interiors and even come with Louis Vuitton Luggage so you travel completely in style. How can you say no to that?!

Car company Infiniti partners with Louis Vuitton in their next venture; the new concept car which will make its debut appearance at the Geneva Motor Show next month will come with a custom Louis Vuitton luggage set. Louis Vuitton has been known over the years for designing custom leggie for vehicles and it is now the time for LV to work its magic on Infiniti. The new car and the collaboration with LV is in celebration to mark the 20th year anniversary of Infiniti.

Infiniti design boss, Shiro Nakamura has already been presented with a piece from the Louis Vuitton luggage set at an LV store in Roppongi, Tokyo. Not much is known about the design or specifications of the concept luxury car but it will definitely be elegant and expensive.
