The world knows the name Akvinta as the first Mediterranean luxury vodka across the globe. Last year, Europe was lucky enough to dip into this high quality spirit and now it is the time for US to do so. The buzz tells us that the brand has just entered the New York, New Jersey and California markets. The Croatian liquor got its official launch in America at the recent Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week. As a matter of fact, Virgin Atlantic Airlines is also happily serving it on board as well as in their Upper Class Clubhouse at JFK airport and at Nobu in NY and Cal.

Well, it has the USDA stamping for organic spirit as it has been very carefully made from the best ingredients that include 100% organic wheat alcohol from Italy and pure Dalmatian spring water. It carries no additives.

Come August and the Washington based Dry Fly Distillery is going to have its hands full, not that anyone is complaining. The brand known for its clean vodka and crisp gin will soon be venturing in the pastures of Wheat Whiskey. Ever since the launch of the distillery in 2007, they have earned themselves an impressively big fan following.
As for the Wheat Whiskey, we are told that it has been made with loal grains and has spent two years sitting in charred whiskey barrels maturing deliciously. And since the D-day is nearing, the retail customers should start acting really fast.
