It’s time to go back to nursery and re-associate with the famous rhyme characters that we familiarized ourselves with while we were just toddlers. This time around it’s Humpty Dumpty’s turn, the character that nobody will every forget easily. Omar Heurta brings back the famous character in the form of a concept design speaker designed especially for Altec Lansing.
The specialty about this concept is that it allows its users to draw and design the speaker according to their preference while listing high quality music. The speaker has two leg shaped stands along with a power switch glowing green lights on its belly. The surface of the speakers is especially designed to be painted with the particular color pen.

Pretty much like the magic of the mythical Xanadu that we have read about in poems and literary works, the new HRS100 speakers by the same name aspire to live up to the famous Xanadu reputation. The Consumer Electronics Show was quite a significant event for music system brand Zu that gave the world a peek into its Essence loudspeaker and impressed them all, so much that the expectations hit the skies even beyond its previous successful venture that we knew as the Druid speaker. And now the company has launched the fourth generation speakers that we all had been waiting for and we are told that they will blow us away!
The technology used in Essence is called Zu260FRD/G4, and it comes with a full-range driver and a whole bunch of high-end tools that integrate new Zu Griewe acoustic loading technology of the company that promises an impressive range of surround sound.

Salk Sound caters to folks like these with its new state of the art speaker known as the HT4. Made from solid bamboo, these gorgeous speaker cabinets are as modern as they get. They are built in two sections with a total height of 42″.
So, you get the HT4 in two versions – with 12″ and 10″ woofer sections (the choice is yours). Each woofer comes with twin opposin passive readiators to cancel out vibrations. So you really have two options, one of getting the 12″ version constructed with solid bamboo with further upgrades that shall cost $17,999 and if you want an MDF upgrade, then you will have to shell out $13,999 along with the cost of the veneer. Now, if you have your eyes set on the 10″ model, then pay $11,999 for the solid bamboo while the MDF finish comes at a cheaper $9,999.

Hand-built and horn loaded speakers are back in fashion in the UK. Yep, you are right; we are talking Klipsch Heritage. Originally dating to 1946, the brand has created quite a name for itself. The new Heritage range comes with four speakers. The top one goes by the name of Klipchorn, a fully horn-loaded, full range, three-way speaker system. It weighs a huge 80 kg and stands 1.28 meters high. The 1-inch tweeter and 2-inch midrange driver alongside a 15-inch fiber- composite woofer give a sensitivity of 105 dB.
Then there is another option called La Scalla II. First launched as a PA speaker for an Arkansas politician, it is quite a catch. The third one is the three-way Cornwall III speaker that boasts a sensitivity to match the fully horn-loaded cabinets. There is a riser base too to help lift it up from the floor.
