Simulators that do not promise a real-life thrill no longer interest gamers. Well, why not…the standards have gone higher. The RS1 Xtreme M3 Simulator is one such mode of entertainment that comes integrated with a projector tower and trainer station that add expediency.
The exclusive components of the RS1 Xtreme have been used to create this latest version in simulators that also has an added top-of-the-line 3-axis motion actuator system. This allows acceleration at up to 2Gs and stimulates vibrations in synchronization with the on-screen action. The biggest strength of this simulator is the new proprietary patent Immersion Screen design and technology that allows the racers a true 180 degree field of vision. Also, there are the multiple high-output shakers that increase the realism by generating vibrations.

Formula 1 passionates might be faced with a dilemma because of the incompatibility between they wallets and their favorite but expensive sport that actually driving a race car become just another wishful thinking. However, if you are still willing to spend though a little less than the price of a top-end race car, a Brazilian group called Armaroli Design has developed and designed a cool new F! simulator that pretty much does the trick.
They are calling it FA5 and have attached a price tag of $34,500 (we do realise it is big, but then so is the sport). The simulator has an ergonomic design as well as the latest in technology used in the new F1 cars. The makers have integrated LCD monitors that promise 44 inches of viewable area. A Logutech G25 wheel with pedals and force feedback get you the rea; feel.

The Formula 1 fever seems to be just about everywhere. Yesterday, it was the cool atomotive-inspired pool table from Unique Autosports followed by Samsonite shaking hands with McLarenSport for some F1 inspired luggage. And now, we heard of a motion simulator that too goes the F1 way. This one goes by the name F1 Showcar Motion Simulator and is quite something.
Built on a motion platform pneumatic system, this simulator stands 190 cm tal and weighs 90 kgs to give the driver the realistic thrill he or she is looking for. Again, the F1 Showcar consists of the full size 2009 chassis of a sportscar completed with an impressive composite bodywork. So much for stunning exterior, let us not have you believe that the interior isn’t anything to talk about. In fact, the F1 shaped racing seat and harness keep it close to real life.

Simulation is the second best thing when you can’t get your hands on the real thing to give you a wild adrenalin rush. Unfortunately, first you have to waste time getting to a place where you can give vent to all that pent up adrenalin.
Elite Racer Pro doesn’t intend to keep you waiting because it brings your simulation desires right to the comforts of your home. The Elite Slim Design is a race car simulator that is as chic as it is wicked. With Sony Bravia 5.1 surround sound, you won’t even have to pretend to ignore the sounds from the rest of the house while you are driving this down some strange highway. Crowson vibrations setup with vibration pads under the seat give you a sense of heightened reality. The Elite Sim Design also has a Quad-Core PC with 4GB memory, 500GB hard drive and NVidia SLI card.

The avid gamers will be glad to know that here is a chance to enjoy the virtual world of racing even more. The CNE racing simulator is a wonderful amalgamation of design and performance. This fun machine will allow you to feel a thrill never experienced before. We were quite taken up by the streamlined looks, especially the graceful arc design in the front region. The acrylic anterior decorative plates complement the whole design.
By the way, there are noble stickers too. The high-grade leather racing seats are adjustable. A lot of thought has gone into making this chair very comfortable for the user; the cushion-y back support of the chair is one such example. And the quality of stimulation is huge ensured by a rather extensive wiring system which is well concealed.

Gamers couldn’t have asked to be born in better time what with some or the other high-end racing simulator with better technology being devised in such quick succession. We too are quite taken up by the cutting-designs that make you touch heights in experiencing thrills and adrenaline rushes.
But with the economic slowdown setting in, some of us are not too eager to shell out moolah on extravagances. And that is where VisionRacer comes to our rescue. It has developed a cool new VR3 Aston Martin branded unit that too at a very affordable price of just $1,211. You can upgrade the system with a PS3, LCD Screen and sound system for $2,278.

Gaming addicts know how difficult it is to leave their favourite games, get off their butts and get some real action. Try telling any of them to head to the gym and they would whine, why can’t virtual gaming be more real?!
The new flight simulator by Electronic Sports can’t get any more real than you could ask for, unless you seriously want to crash-land on a desert and break your neck. The Dogfight is a flight simulator that was designed to keep the players’ reflexes eagle-sharp and quick but it does more than just that while you have a fun time. Propelling of the plane is done by actual pedalling which means the plane’s speed is controlled by the user. Joystick has been replaced by spring-loaded handles that would give your arms as much exercise as your legs would be getting. Dogfight allows single player mission or you could opt to challenge someone else and see how you perform against others on the Electronic Sports site.
