We have reported on the ‘Oasis of the Seas’ before. We are talking about the largest ship in the world. It is owned by Richard D. Fain and costs a whopping $1.4 billion. Well, the good news is that the ‘once-upon-a-time’ concept has finally become a reality. This one is five times bigger than the Titanic. And trust us, that is just the tip of the iceberg for it has space for seven neighbourhoods, an ice rink, a golf course and a 75- seat outdoor amphitheater.

The technical name of the Oasis is NB-1363 and this baby is so tall your neck might just get strained only trying to look at it. Experts say that the boat blends the glitter of Las Vegas with the fantastical edge of Disney.
The ‘Oasis of the Seas’ also boasts of a huge and impressive line of entertainment options that includes scuba diving lessons, rock climbling walls, surfing simulation wave makers, a basketball court as well as four pools. Again, the largest liner also has an gorgeous piazza complete with shopping areas and eating spaces. The designers also included a luxe spa where you can get botox treatments and teeth whitening sessions.

Luxury cruises are gaining a rather consistent popularity in the European seas. And when that just started, the MSC Splendid made a rather bold, loud and extravagant foray into the world of sea travel. Each of the 99 suites here have their very own marble bathrooms with a full size bath, fluffy robes and slippers, Egyptian cotton sheets, memory mattress, pillow menu,complimentary  mini-bar and a delightful personal butler. Boy, now who’s gonna top that!

Titanic had a capacity of 3,547 passengers and crew, this one has a lesser capacity- 3000 passengers, but claims to have extra ordinary features. It is 315m-long as against Titanic’s 269.1 m. But if you ask me honestly, I would say that Titanic is still a better innovator. Imagine, Titanic was launched in 1912 and, the facilities it had!! Amazing! Having said that, let us give the due credit to ‘Celebrity Solstice’. It is the first to have real grass on its lawn. That would be a great support to people who fall sea sick looking at miles and miles of water. What,s more, you can even go for your bare feet morning walk on the grass!
