The fact that LEDs score above LCDs with respect to low energy consumption is what makes it so much more acceptable in given conditions of Global warming and Eco-consciousness.

Sharp seems to be making plenty of waves these days with larger than life television models and the ones driven completely by solar energy. But that is not all Sharp is doing right now. The company has decided to give the ultra-lavish and luxury craving Middle East another reason to celebrate with its new 108-inch LCD Display that has been specifically designed keeping in mind the needs of the region. The large screen was unveiled at Gitex 2008 in Dubai and it surely stole the show with its sheer size.
