If I had a nickel for every time I have wished for a wand to just zap the house chores done! We are all guilty of postponing the vacuuming. I, for one, try to avoid it altogether by not cutting paper near the carpet or getting my shoes on the rug. But now we needn’t try to escape the chore; with Samsung’s new fully automated robot vacuum cleaner, we can sit back n let the cleaning begin.

Samsung is showing their completely automatic and almost self reliant vacuum cleaner named Furot II at the IFA. The Furot II has the usual suction pump, a two-sided brush to clean inaccessible areas and an ultralow noise level. However this smart cleaning device also has an integrated camera and Visionary Mapping System that allows the robot cleaner to see, think and remember.

Furot II uses its camera to determine its location and the sensors help to avoid all possible obstructions while moving from one room to another, like furniture and stairs. A fully charged Furot II is able to clean the house for about 90 minutes (single charge) but in case the battery is running low, recharge it on the charging station and it will automatically resume cleaning from where it left. It even remembers to go back to the charging station when the battery is low again. There’s a manual mode too where the user can send Furot II back to its station by pressing a button on the remote.

The price of this clever cleaner is not out yet- I do hope it is within our budgets to make cleaning a dream!

Video game consoles just keep getting smaller and this time around, designer Wilson Song has designed an intelligent wristwatch gaming device called the Samsung WM. WM Game comes with the ability to be worn on the wrists like a slap bracelet right from the 1980s.

Also, the device looks pretty chic and you can play games whenever you want by just removing it from your wrist. It comes with flexible display and the bending feature can be used for the new input method. You could play the video games using your hand and feet. All you would need to control is to twist it as and when you want and you also get the controller right there.

The Samsung WM Gaming System by Wilson Song may not exactly be great for high graphic games but instead of carrying a PSP or a DS which are quite bulky, you could actually go ahead and get this system when it is available. There is no information about the price or availability but when Samsung agrees to manufacture you will get it!

The CES 2009 has again been quite exciting and this time it is the turn of Samsung to woo the crowds with their latest TV range. The latest TV range is called the Luxia and it comes in three series, the 6000, 7000 and the 8000 OLED backlight series. The Luxia range is not only cool and hot at the same time but is also green and eco friendly.

The 6000 series come with TV Tuner, RSS service and even 4 HDMI ports. The 7000 series come with web-based technology and are awesome HDTVs. The 8000 series may look small but pack in a lot of juice.

The TVs consume 40% less power than normal LCD TVs. The price and availability are not known. Looks like Samsung knows how to attract attention with these sleek and stylish products that not only look good but are also green, eco friendly and pack in awesome technology.

With growing usages, we feel the need of either a huge screen or an alternate screen. Whilst former had many options but later is a buzz created by Samsung’s offering of SyncMaster 2263DX, which has been reviewed by Wired. Now all your sundry widgets and other digital ephemera can be accommodated on that alternate screen. Also, the idea of having multiple monitors on your machine makes you more organized. Samsung seemed to have realized the reality before any one could and the fact that a complete a full-size second monitor can overkill is a well considered thought. Hence, they unveiled the SyncMaster 2263.

The model has an appealing finish and pioneering design. The downsides comprise average presentation and a high value. And yes the 7-inch monitor won’t be an easy deal as it demands $550 whist within less than $100, you can buy and pair two decent 20-inch monitors. The 2263DX is fine-looking freak is defined as a cool innovation act and not the chief lure in the LCD sideshow.
