I know, it sounds like a Photoshop gimmick that just made its way onto the net, but when we double checked this claim it turns out that it actually is true! So, there are many car fanatics across the globe (millions) and many others who specifically love the Porsche, but surely none can compete with the sheer craziness of Gil Dezer. This dud was wacky enough (and we mean that in a real good way) to actually take the help of a crane, go through plenty of trouble and let go of a driving option to put a 1950 Porsche Spyder 550 on the top of his 8,000-square-foot condo! And when you look at it, it does look like the work of Spiderman; just that there are no strings attached!
It took an entire team of technicians, a crane and plenty of modifications to get the Spyder 550 up there and now Gil can control its headlights and horn from a touchscreen placed besides the door. Cool and crazy at the same time Gil could obviously afford to hang a car for as an indoor decorative as he own another 7 Porsches too (We told you he was a fanatic!)

Mansory, the much loved exotic auto tuner, was lately in news for making the $2.5 million worth Vincero Bugatti Veyron. And now it has turned its attention to the Porsche Cayenne when planning their next design feat. Called the Chopster, this design has basicaly rebuilt the car in carbon fiber.
A treat to the eyes and a definite one to the driver, this stunning roadster has sporty chrom wedge-shaped panels on the doors. This one is the baby of Mansory’s recent acquisition of Rinspeed’s Porsche tuning arm. As a result, the new design has a reworked and redesigned super-SUV feel to it. The profile is both wider and lower.

It’s a new trend among yacht makers to steer awar from conventional designs that have become just a little over common. Porsche Design Group is one of them for being amng the first one to create a dreamboat that looks like a spacecraft. This little feat was achieved in collaboration with the Singapore-based megayacht builders Royal Falcon Fleet.
The ’spaced’ out new superyacht has been dubbed RFF135 and it comes equipped with nothing but sheer luxury. There is a helipad, suken pool on the deck, a Jacuzzi and what not. You just have to think of the exotic luxury requirements and you will find them all here. And all of this has been done very tastefully so!

Some of us like to throw in everyone’s faces, your richness, of course! Not that we are complaining. In fact, we have a little something that might be the next shopping option for folks who fall in that category. The Porsche P’8499 sunglasses are the newest thing on the ultra-rich and super-glam aisle. And this one’s been made in gold and platinum — a killer combination.
So much so that the front of the text and the bar have been made from 18 carat gold and 900 platinum pt. to offer optimal protection with 24 carat gold that is perfectly mirrored polycarbonate lenses.

After giving us Kitchen enthusiasts the Porsche 700 just a few days ago, the brand Porsche Design Studio is up in action again. This time partnering with Grand Hall (of the T-Grill fame). The product baby called X-Series grill comes in two models, one with and the other without island.
Apparently, four years were spent on the creation of this grill. No wonder the research has paid off so well. The X-Series grill comes with a clutter-free design, matching specs, built-in rotisserie, counter balanced hood, sliding lid, smooth-start ignition, LCD panel display with built-in countdown timer and electronic instruments and gauges with a rechargeable battery.

We like those who do not settle even for the best. For example, the folks at Wimmer Racing Technology. This German tuning firm has the courage to take Porsche’s top-of-the-line GT2 a level up than it is right now. Yes, it is rather hard to believe that such a huge car brand would need improvisations. But the Wimmer engineers have proven that by tinkering the electronics and replacing the twin turbochargers, as well as the camshafts, cylinder heads and exhaust system, they can do wonders to this already oh-so-wonderful car.
As a result of Wimmer’s effort, 911 is giving an overall output of a stratospheric 680 horsepower with a torque of 642 lb-ft. Equipped with so much power, the car can accelerate up to 60 mph in just 3.4 seconds, giving top speed of 221 miles per hour.

There were a lot of pictures going around on the net with people claiming them to be real pictures of the new Porsche phone. Ending all those rumours now, Porsche Design has finally released an official statement along with pictures of the P’9522.

Like father, like son. Well, that is the Beckham pattern for sure. After all, the eldent offspring of footballer David Beckham too has taken up a passion for cars like daddy dearest, that too way early in life. Yes, we are talking about Brooklyn Beckham’s latest toy, which is none other than a refined version of the ultra-small Porsche sports car.
Buzz is that the silver beauty comes at a whopping price of $72,610. Why not? Because it has been handcrafted and i powered by a diesel engine. Being a single seater, the toy car could be one reason for Brooklyn to not score too many brownie points; after all, we do know that even right now there are millions of kids and adults who would like to change places with him. In fact, we can say the same for his younger siblings too.

The Christmas and New Year season generally brings with it a much-awaited blanket of pure white snow for many who dwell in cool regions. And the best thing about snow, apart from snow fights, is riding on a no-horse sleigh!
Porsche may be internationally for their cars, but it is never too late to fray into and take over the world of other forms of travel. This time, perhaps in celebration of the season, the company brings out the Porsche Design Aluminium Sled. Sleek and carrying the stylish design of all Porsche vehicles, the sled has an aluminium frame with stainless steel runners. The seat is made from black imitation leather and is also waterproof to provide for hours of playing in the snow.

There has been floating news about the upcoming hybrid and diesel powertrain options on Porsche’s Panamera across blogosphere and today we have a final word about its launch scheduled for next year. It is said that the hybrid comes operational with a 3.6-liter V6 engine providing 300 horsepower together with an extra hundred horsies from the electric motor. They say that the driver would now be able to selectively pick how much power can be hauled out from engine and motor combo. Other probable substitute powertrain for the Panamera is its diesel engine. Against the Cayenne potential to get the 3.0L diesel engine from Audi, the Panamera can two-fold the cylinder count by being bequeathed with Audi’s mammoth 6.0L V12 TDI that punches out 500 horsepower along with an implausible 758 lb-ft of torque.
Whist Audi’s large Q7 SUV manages around 20 miles per gallon; it is reckoned that it should do significantly improved in the low-slung Panamera. The six-cylinder Panamera wont offer you an easy deal as it would cost you $127,000 and above all the impending four door Porsche hybrid is for deep pockets only.
