Leon Verres is a name second for luxury. And looks like this brand does not like to be limited to the most expensive champagne category alone. In fact, we have discovered that it has a pretty good taste in expensive shoes too. Yes, you heard it right. Leon Verres has ventured (though the first time was in 2004) into the world of fashionable footwear with a luxury shoe range that is being marketed under the same brand name. And we also hear that the inner sole of the shoes in this collection has been made in real gold and platinum.
But obviously the price bracket is a real high. How does $145,000 sound to you? Well, the champagner-maker-cum-shoe-maker claims that the finest of materials like gold leather, precious diamonds, sapphires as well as black silk have been purchased to conjure this extrvagant treat for your toes.

We are quite fond of the marriages that take place between famous brands in the name of luxury. This time it is the uber-luxe watch maker A.Lange & Sohne that has joined hands with the Paris-based jewelry store Dubail to reintroduce the stunning Tourbograph Pour le Merite that comes boasting of an extraordinary diamond decoration.
It took the two creative minds a very intricate design to incorporate 40 carats of baguette diamonds in the watch, where the bracelets itself has been consituted from 175 ices. Both the case as well as the bracelet have been crafted in platinum with a very elaborate settin around the lugs and bezel. Originally conceived by A. Lange & Sohne in cooperation with Swiss complications specialist Renaud & Papi, this Calibre L903.0 is manually-wound. It comprises 45 jewels and more than 1,000 individual parts, each of which has been finished by hand to reflect the traditions of traditional Saxon fine watchmaking.

Looks like the dog is finally having his day. Man’s best friend has only given love, loyalty and companionship to his master for the ages gone by without expecting anything in return. Don’t worry, the furry beast has not turned expectant all of a sudden but the people have changed in their treatment of them. Yep, now people like to spend on them and luxuriously so, if we may add that.
In fact, there has been a change in the pooch carrier of yore. Now folks want the least conspicuous ways of carrying their pet around with them, without drawing unnecessary attention to either of them. And the makers of the Ceramic Travel Doghouse thought of cashing on to that new reality.

Though many may claim otherwise, Stuart Weitzman’s Cinderella Slippers could perhaps be the world’s most expensive shoes. The shoe is made of platinum threads and the finest Italian leather. It is also adorned with several platinum diamonds and one of them is of 5 karats.
These were displayed in Harrods in 2004 and were worn by Alison Krauss and if you are interested in buying these pair of slippers, make sure you have $2 million. Now I really can’t say if it’s the world’s most expensive pair of shoes or slippers but I definitely can say that this particular pair of shoes would be the envy of the evil step mom and other hags, if Cinderella wore it to the party.
