Vertu, Nokia’s deliciously luxurious division that shells out high-end mobile phones just got a new feather on its cap. The popular line Ascent Ti has got itself a new version with the Vertu Ascent Ti Damascus Steel. An ancient steel forging technique has been used to get this rather new shape with an increased strength and hardness. We especially liked the hand etching on the phone.
For the uninitiated, the same technique is used to make Samurai swords and Indian Wootz swords. So you can be assured that the Ascent Ti Damascus is a sturdy one.

Partying comes with its inconveniences such a phones going missing and not being able to type while dancing and the like. However, it may also be important to send messages without sounding rude and you never know who messaged until you decide to stop dancing and type. Nokia Strapup is a unique phone that can be strapped around your wrist like a watch and it is almost as luxurious to look at as a bracelet is.
The best part is, the watch sends pre defined messages based on the movement you are making. You just need to dance and your friends will know what you are up to, and you wouldn’t have stopped to send a message even for a minute. However, Nokia does not seem to be planning to launch this Bracelet-Phone in the near future.

There are people who would simply buy what is in vogue. The result is that every person walking across Hyde Park would have the same thing with them. Then there would be others who like exclusivity. For the latter ones, Nokia has launched its latest craft-piece called the Nokia 8800 Carbon Arte. It has interesting materials in the making such as carbon fibre, titanium, polished glass and stainless steel to give it an arty look. But the USP of the product is that it is in 24k yellow gold makes it a sheer pleasure to see and hold.
At £2099, it is not a high price to pay considering the brand value of Nokia, the original design of the product and the fact that it is hand tailored in England. I particularly like the looks of gold on Black which reminds me of a beautiful speckled snake. It is so classy and unisex that it will appeal to both men and women!
