LiftMatic-From-Siemens LiftMatic From Siemens Gets Cool MP3 Player Like Controls

IFA Berlin 2009 saw a lot of changes with most home appliances by Siemens. The most distinct were the i-Pod like disc controls for the induction hobs and cooking ranges, particularly in its pristine liftMatic oven. This new kitchen partner has been made in stainless stell with a black lass panel. It also features the award winning light control system by Siemens’.

We are quite taken by the MP3 player-like push buttons that have been arranged in a very logical order for the utmost convenience. And this new oven is not just about looks alone. It also has the best and latest in cooking technology. Among its specs are 11 heating methods that include defrosting, top and bootm heating, hydro shoes, bottom heat, speed, 3D hot air, convection grill system, barbecue area, pre-heating and keeping the food warm.

Chuck Your Ear Phones, Get iLogic Sound Hat

iLogic Sound Hat

To be an inventor is one thing but to be an inventor in style is another thing altogether. In our past blogs, we may have covered hundreds of varieties of head phones but I have never come across an idea as simple and yet innovative as this- wearing the earphone into the hat! With iLogic Sound Hat you can actually replace a hat for the headphone. Who would have thought of this earlier and yet how commonsensical it is!

It has double benefits, first being that you don’t need the messy, always falling out ear phones because it fits snugly to your hear and second, it keeps you warm and in vogue. All that you need is an iPod or a music player to compliment this cap.

Seemingly a pool toy, the speakers pictured above are developed and designed to add to your poolside musical experience. With a potential to submerse up to 9 feet for long 30 minutes, these weatherproof speakers can stand against the weird nature of unusual elements. How it works? By connecting wirelessly to a powered transmitter-dock with an integrated audio-in for an MP3 player, it comes equipped with a six-hour battery life having a range of 150 feet. A single transmitter is enough to support around 10 speakers. Every individual speaker has four ultra-bright LED lights that add to the aura of the lovely evening.

Submersible Speakers

To my much-surprise, it is retailed at just $149.99 for base and a speaker and demands an additional $99.99 for extra speakers. Quite affordable!

Hood.e Plugs In Speakers To Your Hood Jacket
Posted in Apparels, Concept, Gadgets, Shopping, Speakers, Technology on 7 May 2008

Hood.e

This full-of-potential concept of integrating speakers into the jacket’s hood is a revolutionary concept-based creation by Tim Dubitsky. Called Hood.e concept, it is initially projected as a safer option for his nephew who cannot stay from from music even on his way to school. Then, days came when he had to cross a busy road that may prove dangerous for him if he gets lost in his music and thus had to bid farewell to earbuds or headphones. Bah humbug! But where is the substitute for his survival?

The idea of availability of speakers embedded in the hood can enable users’ ditch the ear buds and cords whilst still being able to hear the music in presence of noise. Tit for Tat, if doesn’t like the loud volume.
