Music lovers will be happy to know that very soon Moscow will be treated to some delicious musical notes that come from one of the costliest violins in the world. So if you have the time and money, you should very well make it to the Russian captial for the grand event. This violin goes by the name Ex-Vieuxtemps and was made by the venerated Giuseppe Guarneri in 1741.
A little bit of research told us that this violin has a long list of famous owners that also includes the great violinist and composer of the 19th Century, Henri Vieuxtemps maybe that is the reason why the violin is called so.

Do you want to know how much Moscow has changed over the last two decades? Head straight to the city’s prime location hot-spot and one of the most luxurious addresses of the city.
Ritz-Carlton’s award-winning rooftop bar O2 Lounge is located on the hotel’s 12th storey. It has the essence of all that the city has to offer. That Moscow is a mix of the old and new, the modern and the ancient, is visible in all corners. The interiors are luxe. But you have a bit of Russia in all things at the lounge.
It has a sushi bar with sushi prepared using fish flown all the way from Japan’s Tsukiji market! The sushi lounge also has oysters and lobsters. Alternatively, enjoy an afternoon smoke from…hold your breath – hookah pipes made in Czech Republic, from Bohemian Crystal.

There are so many things in the present world that actually make us realise that maybe the so-called ‘financial hard times’ are just the woes of a very few. We know that counries have been very busy promoting tourism in their states and for that they are offering great discount packages too. But perhaps, Moscow does not believe in giving quality at low prices. From what we hear, an expensive rental apartment in the Russian capital charges $50,000 per month.
DOKI Real Estate Agency is handling the property located very strategically near the Arbatskaya metro station in downtown Moscow. Apparently, the 21 rooms which include 8 bedrooms and six bathrooms will keep your travelling group quite happy and comfortable.

All right we might not have enough dope on it right now, but the car has everyone’s head spinning. We are talking about the gold plated BMW M5 working wonders on the roads of Moscow. Well, we are not surprised because didn’t we get to see a gold-plated Porsche from Russia only!
So far the car is a real mystery, maybe that is just another reason why it is generating so much buzz. Some might think it is nothing but a vulgar display of money because of the yellow shine all over the body of the car, but then no one’s ignoring it. In fact, ‘English Russia’ reports that once a gold plated Porsche (maybe it’s the same one we talked about in para one) was hijacked in a busy Moscow street.

When I read about the story of this long lost Champagne bottle making their way to stardom, I was literally amazed. Imagine a bottle of Champagne sinking in the sea because of a shipwreck some eighty years back has found its way back, and what a come back!
This 1907 Heidsieck champagne fetched a $275,000 tag at the Ritz-Carlton in Moscow. And there are more than 200 such bottles belonging to the bygone era. It is being said that the bottles were shipped for a Russian Imperial family at the time when it met the fatal accident.
I am sure that had the roman god of Wine seen this, he would have shied away!

Russia was in news days back for unveiling alien cars with little knowledge that it had its eyes upon marking a bling statement as well. And if that 24-carat gold encrusted wheels or Bentley’s Gold-bathed coupe failed to invite your attention then here is a feast for your eyes. The second model of Porsche comes slapped with gold and is all set to burn the roads. The jazzy Porsche 911 is from Russia and would sit quietly in any filthy-rich’s parking lot as it is layered with around 40 pounds of the pure gold, making the proud owner think and rethink for taking it out in dusty environs.
It’s “Khokhloma style” tail comes festooned with gold. But it is not the end. The floor mats of the Porsche 911 are designed to gel with its glitzy face. It seems to declare that Russia bleeds Gold.
After a long oration, now I allow you to roll over the pics:
