A card for shopping, another for credit, a third one for your salary money deposit, a fourth for paying bills. Plastic money sure is a lure. But it can leave you sore too. What with those multiple passwords that you must remember, it is a pain to handle them all at once.
Not just that, each time a card expires, it helps pile up more plastic garbage. If a card generates receipts with every transaction, add those bits that multiply to a million when they create trash.
How about having a single card that does most jobs for you? One electronic card that can help you consolidate all your credit cards? This has been made possible by Designer Kim Young Suk. It keeps at bay not just plastic waste, but also the big trouble of identity theft through discarded cards. It means an all-in-one credit card device. The concept involves the user uploading various credit card details on one end of the card gadget which has a memory card slot.

‘Money can’t buy me love’ said the Beatles. But on second thoughts, maybe you can. At least the Dollar Teddy Bear seems to believe so. Touted as a cuddly consolation for the dwindling economies across the world, this money toy has many falling in love with it and these folks say that it’s not just because of the money. Well, we would like to believe them.
Hollywood flicks have been full of mattresses filled with moolah but never before did we see a teddy bear sewn entirely out of genuine U.S. dollar bills. Then it does not even have any eyes or mouth, just dear ol’ dollar bills.

In the times of the global economic meltdown, no place is safe anymore for your cash. Even the banks do not offer you the security that you are looking for. Keeping this in mind Bed makers Feather and Black have developed what they like to call the Safe Bed. This one is a divan bed equipped with a cunningly concealed drawer in its base. So, you can safely store your cash and treasures under you while you take a carefree nap.
The company’s reps claim that the safe is big enough to accommodate stacks of notes and several jewelry boxes too. Admitting that the furniture unit was borne out of a tongue-and-cheek idea but it soon became serious business once word spread about its safety assurance.
