Love it or hate, but you can’t ignore it. We mean brand Vertu that has a great liking for blinging up mobile phones for those seeking luxury and style. It’s agreed that some of the designs are over the top and so are their price tags. But the fact remains that Vertu has a very strong line of loyalists. And it is for them alone that the brand has released the new Constellation Ayxta.
Keeping true to the Vertu tradition as witnessed in the Ascent, Signature and the current Constellation version, the Ayxta too flaunts the finest craftsmanship ever seen. There is a leather trim too with a round the clock access to the company’s concierge service from any place in the world.

The Formula 1 is at its peak. And the luxury world is doing everything it can to celebrate its spirit. After all, there aren’t too many sports that are referred to as the rich man’s (oops, person’s) game. This time around it is the Russian manufacturer of luxury mobile phones Gresso that has been inspired by F1 racing.
The newest release from the brand has been dubbed Gresso Grand Monaco. And we are told that it has been molded out of the materials related to the world of racing. For instance, a titanium super alloy has been used as well as a hi-tech ceramic and carbon. Even steel and hand-polished 42 K sapphire crystal has been used for framing the display.

Makers of mobile phones are under the stress to come up with new ways to gain the interest of consumers and this is often difficult because, with the technology available, it appears that everything possible has already been done. Their best bet is to hit upon a design that would appeal.
TCT Mobile Limited may soon launch their latest luxury phone into the market. The Alcatel Crystal A, unfortunately, does not look luxurious enough to appeal to anyone. The flip phone seems to have a smattering of precious stones on the cover, but the design itself is quite unflattering. Flip it open and the phone looks old-fashioned and boring to the point of looking repulsive, especially to the younger generation that is used to shiny and futuristic designs.

We know the moment when the entire world stands still for the mobile lovers, and the poor dears can do nothing but watch helplessly. If you haven’t guessed already, we are referring to the mobile phone slips that makes the gorgeous talk device we love so much crash to the floor and fall apart. And we had been quite surprised that no one really thought of addressing this little problem. So much for technology!

Created by none other than Vertu, this is their newest luxury mobile phone range that have been finished with optimum carbon fibers and resin. The result? Well, the phone gets a uniform surface on both flat and curved parts.

Rumours always abound on the internet and elsewhere about what might be a new product or designs for a new absolutely must have gadget. This time, it appears to be the moment for an Android powered phone that has apparently been discovered by mobile.nu.
The XPERIA is an Android powered phone that is supposed to be released soon by Sony Ericsson and which is, of course, being kept extremely hush hush at the moment. Codenamed Rachael for just such possible intrusions, the XPERIA is is supposed to feature a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, HSPA and an 8 mega pixel camera. The leaked pictures show a slim and sleek piece further made cool by the wide touch screen. It looks like the screen is about 3.5 to 4 inches wide and there is a 3.5mm headphone jack on top as well.

Phone companies will do just about anything to come up with a phone that become the top hit on the market. Usually, they restrain themselves to a smashing design and perhaps a few cool features. Now and then, though, you come upon upon a phone that is a testament to something even bigger.
The Vertu Nurburgring Racetrack mobile phone is an ode to the race track at Germany. The phone appears as racy as the racetrack that it commemorates with tyre-like designs at the sides and a slim and flashy finish. Only 1000 units of the phone was made and was sold out, or so we thought, until this phone appeared on eBay. The seller claims the phone is an original and has never been used, which is quite suspicious because nobody could have just bought the phone to place it in their drawer. The Nokia based phone is made from titanium and topped off with racing leather.

Guess, in times like these, only the gilded could afford to be decadent. Recession does not seem to dent lifestyles of the rich and opulent! So for those who aren’t wary of financial slump world over, here’s an offering from those who dare to brave rough waters. Diamonds it is yet again as we still can’t seem to get enough of it. Japan’s Softbank Mobile Company has unveiled a line of mobile phones encrusted with Tiffany diamonds! It is going to be a limited run of just 10 of the phones, so line up already you guys and gals (or ladies and gentlemen!).
The Softbank 823SH Tiffany, as it is known, that’s limited to just 10 units, comes studded with 537(18.34 carat) diamonds from Tiffany’s and will sell for around 13 million yen (130,265 dollars!). The phone has a top that flips open to a display is designed by the New York jeweler.
