Airstream’s newest is now hitting the social circles and shows signs of turning a rage. Lovingly called the Silver Bullet, the trailer showcases custom-made interior by Copenhagen’s Republic of Fritz Hansen, and is due to feature or get showcased in an array of events, design fairs and exhibitions around the world. A quick look at the way its interiors have been designed, could go a long way in how mobile living in trailers can undergo change for better in looks.

So which four-wheeler can come anywhere close to trudging it in equal style? The newest MINI Cooper S Clubman.

Mini Cooper S Clubman trailed Airstream trailer, will first be showcased at Salone del Mobile Show and the Interni Design Energies exhibition that will be held at Milan, Italy, between April 21 and April 30 2009.

The luxury camping vans coming from the Airstream workshop have never failed to delight us. And now, the famous brand has decided to team up with yet another famous name, Mini Cooper. Yes, the latter has helped Airstream develop a one-off design called the Mini Cooper S Clubman by the Republic of Fritz Hansen. Do no fret, this new trailer has been designed keeping your surfing needs in mind.

The minimalist trailer comes with Arne Jacobsen’s Egg and Swan Chair and a table set up with four unique Series Seven chairs for guests. The sleek wooden paneling works wonders for the over all charm of the structure which is in tune with the modern surfer’s style.

The Mini Cooper S Clubman will primarily be set off with black wetsuit neoprene accents along with a stylish green trim with of course, newly designed five spoke alloy wheels. Measuring up to 22-feet, this silver trailer has an exterior that is quite similar to a Mini in details while the interior promises a luxury lifestyle for beach regulars that is the signature of Airstream.

Good news for all the MINI Cooper fans out there. The word is out that the 2009 MINI Cooper and Cooper S convertible will be hitting the markets real soon, maybe somewhere around March nect year. In fact, they will make their debut at the Detroit Auto Show early January.

The MINI Cooper ragtop comes at a very affordable $ 22,500 and if you want a little more attitude, then go for the Cooper S version which costs $ 4,000 more. The cute little toy cars that have earned themselves a whole generation of loyalists, promise a new concept of a four-cyclinder gasoline engine with Twin-Scroll turbochargers or fuly variable valve management. The engine capacity is expected to be 1,598 cc with the regular convertible giving a maximum output of 118 hp whilst that of the S version will be 172 hp.

You will still find the front-wheel drive, that has allowed us MINI users to enjoy a go-cart-like handling, pretty much like it has always been. But it too has been refines a teeny-weeny bit to suit the specific MINI convertible models.
